Rodarte SS18 Haute Couture is definitely something to talk about. It’s time to wake up and smell the roses, as it’s all about flowers in their new collection. WILDABOUT explore the timeless creations of one of our most favourite designers out there.
FLAMBOYANT NEW TRENDS
Rodarte are constantly setting new trends and are known for their eclectic use of fabrics and incredible detail within their work. The SS18 collection was opened by Nina Marker wearing a beautiful yellow outfit, head to toe in delicate lace. The accessories were to die for, as tied around the waist was a shiny golden belt with a gorgeous bow featured as a focal point to the outfit. And of course the main attribute to the whole collection, the flowers.
Speaking of flowers, Rodarte have made them the main attraction to their new designs. Every outfit is decorated in graceful little wild flowers. Entwined around the arms of each model and flowing through their hair, like a flower crown. As it’s summer, we can all channel our inner fairy and create our own flower crowns. Whether it’s just a few freshly picked daisies from your garden, or one you’ve found whilst shopping. They are great for festivals too!
FLOWERS, FLOWERS AND MORE FLOWERS
The flowers give a romantic feel to the clothes. There are some rather magical designs, drawing attention to the feminine pastel pinks and pure whites. However if you’re more into patterns and bold colours, Rodarte have also created some designs that clash beautifully and elegantly with the sweet and innocent vibe. Sharp reds and deep black lace bring an eclectic feel to the collection. Mixing and matching different styles and trends is what Rodarte do best.
The charming lacy gowns covered with ornate flowers seem like the dream bridal outfit. Oh how I would love to get married wearing one of the Rodarte SS18 haute couture dresses. They have even made shawls out of the iconic white flowers. It truly is a dreamy collection. Rodarte, you’ve done it again.
